Helping Clients Fight Foreclosures in Indiana
That last thing anyone wants is to lose their home. For 25 years, I have helped clients in Bloomington and surrounding areas stop home foreclosures.
I also assist with a variety of other options, including:
- Loan modification — reduces loan payments to a more affordable price
- Bankruptcy — filing prevents creditors from foreclosing on your home
- Short sale — lender gets a lesser amount of money, forgiveness of debt, but taxes may be levied against you stemming from lender’s losses.
- Deed in lieu of foreclosure — forgives debt and provides relief by giving the house back to the lender
Whether it is stopping a home foreclosure, or determining if another legal option is available, I will help you through these challenging times. Call Rudolph Wm. Savich, Attorney at Law, at 812-336-7293 or me online to take the first step to protect your home. Office Hours: M-Th: 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., other hours available by appointment.
Know Your Foreclosure Rights
The Indiana legislature recently enacted a new law that entitles home owners in foreclosure to a settlement conference. If your home is in danger of foreclosure, the courts will send you a notice with that information. To take advantage of this option, you must request the settlement conference within a short amount of time.
If successful, the conference can resolve disputes between you and your lender without ever needing to go to court. You need an attorney at these settlement conferences to let you know what your rights are. I am here to provide any advice or information that will help you save your home.
